Editorial Committee

The Editorial Committee is extremely pleased to announce the coming of the second volume number one of Mekelle University Law Journal. Mekelle University Law Journal publishes contributions in the form of scholarly articles, case comments, comments on draft or enacted laws, book reviews, proceedings, research outputs, precedents, case briefs/index and a special corner/supplement on new developments.

The goal of the Editorial Committee is to take the journal in a direction where it serves as an outlet of the academic works to the academia and the community at large. We also cross our fingers to integrate research and publication in order to enhance quality of researches conducted in law school and other institutions and to reach the highest possible standard through the peer review mechanism of the publication process.

To make the goal reality, we need the help of authors, reviewers and readers. Therefore, the committee invites submission of contributions from the academia, practicing lawyers and researchers on legal or related inter-disciplinary issues.

Last but not least, the committee would like to thank the external, internal assessors and all the authors who contributed such a rich variety of outstanding articles, case comment and other contributions on a broad range of exciting topics. The head of Mekelle University School of Law, Mr. Mekonnen Fisseha and the Dean of College of Law and Governance, Mr. Gebrehiwot Hadush, deserve special appreciation for their unrelenting follow up and assistance in making this journal a reality.
